UP Scholarship 2025–26 Online Application for Pre Matric & Post Matric

The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department invites online applications for the UP Scholarship Scheme 2025–26. This scholarship is aimed at helping financially weak students from various categories including SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and General (Economically Weaker Section).

Candidates studying in schools, colleges, or other educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply for either Pre Matric or Post Matric Scholarships depending on their class and course of study.

Available Scholarship Categories

• Pre Matric: Class 9 and 10 students
• Post Matric (Inter): Class 11 and 12 students
• Post Matric (Other Than Inter): UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate course students
• Post Matric Outside State: UP-domiciled students studying outside UP

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• They must be enrolled in any recognized school/college/institution in UP.
• Annual family income:
  • For General/OBC: Up to ₹2,00,000 (Post Matric), ₹1,00,000 (Pre Matric)
  • For SC/ST: Up to ₹2,50,000 (Post Matric), ₹1,00,000 (Pre Matric)

Required Documents

• Marksheet/Certificates of previous class
• Valid caste and income certificates
• Domicile certificate
• Aadhar card and bank passbook
• Passport size photo
• Fee receipt from institution

How to Apply

1. Visit the official scholarship portal.
2. Click on “Student” section and choose “Fresh” or “Renewal” as applicable.
3. Register with valid details and generate login credentials.
4. Login, fill out the scholarship form and upload required documents.
5. Submit the form and take a printout.
6. Submit the printed form to your institution for verification.
